Joyce will forever be remembered as a kind, soft-spoken woman with a big heart. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with her and John on several projects. Delightful to work with but stern in a mother's way! Occasionally, fattening us up with a few homemade treats. To me, they are more like friends than clients. The impact you have made will forever go on. You will truly be missed....
When I moved across the state for my first job after college, Joyce took me under her wing, introduced me to people my age, and even helped me when I was sick.  She was one of the main reasons I could acclimate to my new home.  Always gentle, kind, and positive, Joyce was a mentor and friend—my condolences to the whole family.  I am grateful to have known her.  I'm unable to come to the funeral, but I'll be thinking of her and you.
Joyce was always smiling beautifully even through her health issues. She was a gracious hostess & loved to entertain. She adored her family & husband, John.
Joyce loved to sing in church choirs & in our Francis Elliott Clark Music Club ensembles.
I’ll always remember how brave Joyce was during her long illness.
Joyce was a very special lady and friend.

Dear John and Family... How sad we were to hear of sweet Joyce's passing!  We cannot imagine your heartbreak at this time!  Hang on to your memories and keep them close to your heart!

Sending hugs, love and prayers to all of you!

Love, Dick & Judy

Joyce and John have been close friends since graduation from Goshen College.

We have traveled together and skied together.

Joyce along with John were a light to the world!!  Joyce will be missed, but not forgotten.  Blessings to family!

Love,

Carolyn and Mel Stjernholm

I am happy I was able to see my second cousin Joyce recently at her home in  Angola on the lake. What a wonderful obituary. I am sure she left many good memories to family and friend.
Joyce was such a lovely, calm and kind person. I am so grateful for Joyce (and John) as I know how much my parents admired and enjoyed them. And what contributions to Bryan! Thinking of all the Yoders during this huge loss.
Lifting you all as you celebrate Joyce. We join you from the West Coast, sad to not be there physically. I Loved sitting by her in choir - she was always SPOT ON PITCH which I Dearly appreciated😄. And such a joy to chat with as we could sneak it in on the sly. She took me on my first ever jet ski ride, on Lake Gage. Yes. So hospitable. and Toooo Young to leave us. sigh.
