Joyce's obituary

Joyce Lynn Wilson passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan 6, 2023 at age 74 at her home in Bradenton, FL.

She was born Oct 2, 1948 in Greenfield, IN to Donald and Albertine (Campbell) Strange. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was retired from Reebok. Joyce and her loving husband planted roots in Pendleton, IN where they were residents for 36 years before retiring to Florida in 2011.

God blessed her with a love for art. She loved to paint in acrylic, oil and watercolor. She was also talented at woodcarving.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and father, and her brothers Timothy Strange, Terry Strange and Donald “Butch” Strange. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years - Kevin Wilson, her children Todd (Robin) Borders, Shannon Everhart, Chantell (Dave) Fiscus, and Shane (Abby) Wilson, her sisters Lois Carr and Ginger (Charles) Price, her brothers Hal (Mia) Strange and William Strange, her grandchildren Kala, Brent, Victoria, Phoenix, Cody, Evan, Corbin, Lily, Maxwell, Brayden and Caroline, and great-grandchildren Layla, Nathaniel and Violet, and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Indiana. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
