Joyce Elizabeth Specht, a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was born on March 31, 1930 in Davenport, Iowa. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2019 and heaven gained another angel.

Joyce raised 5 children and was loved dearly by her extended family. She was thoughtful and kind beyond words. Her family and friends will all tell you that she never missed a birthday. Joyce was known to all as a wonderful cook. Our holidays were always enriched by her delicious homemade noodles and kolaches. Joyce also told many wonderful stories of her world
travels with her husband George.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, George Specht, her parents, Leonard and Rachel Tedford, her sons, Scott Mohr and Marty Mohr, her siblings, Phyllis Fliehler, Trudy Claeys and Bud Tedford, and her grandson Dale Staner.

She is survived by her children, Greg Mohr and wife Janice, Layne Mohr and wife Sherry, and Diane Staner and husband Blake; grandchildren, Brian Mohr, Michael Mohr, Michelle Godwin, Jeremiah Mohr, Chrystal Smith, Tiffany Taylor, Katelyn Ufkes, Krystyn Mohr, Kenny Ishikawa, Dustin Mohr, Summer Staner, Ryan Angenend, and Kelly Tabbert. She also had 20 beloved great grandchilden and many special nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by all.
