Joyce Ann Newman, 68, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on November 8, 2021.  She was born July 20, 1953 in Jackson, Michigan.  Upon graduating from Northwest High School in 1971, Joyce held many various jobs before finding a home in the Central Sterile Processing Unit at Henry Ford Allegiance Health.  She loved and was dedicated to her job.  Joyce is survived by daughters Mandy (Brian) Jouppi and Sarah (Dan) Rajotte, sister Paula White, brothers Richard Piper, Mark Piper and Toby Newman, granddaughters Sofia and Amelia Jouppi and Arielle Rajotte and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Joyce was preceded in death by parents Z.T. and Lillian Newman, sister Debra Sue and brothers Randy Newman, Dale Piper and Michael Piper, along with many great friends.  A small memorial gathering will be held in 2022.  Joyce was an important part of her family's lives and her loss is deeply felt.  In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the American Heart Association in her memory.
