Joyce Mae McCuaig passed away on February 14, 2018 after suffering a stroke. She was surrounded by her family. Joyce was born on November 27,1929 in Santa Cruz. Joyce grew up in Castroville, and Oakland. Joyce moved to Fremont in 1959. She was a was a longtime resident for 58 years. Joyce raised her 4 children with her husband Donald in Fremont. Joyce loved being outdoors hiking, camping, Swimming, and going to the beach. Joyce enjoyed dancing especially ballroom dancing. Joyce was involved in bowling leagues for many years. Joyce enjoyed being Involved in her church and the Redhatters. Joyce liked to travel within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Joyce loved spending time with all of her children, and she was devoted to her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her Children Mitchell McCuaig, Robin Maria Cu (Dan), Shauna McCuaig of Missouri, Casey McCuaig (Rosana) and grandchildren Nichole Maria Cui, Matthew Maria Cui, Tatiana McCuaig, Juliana McCuaig, Brian Craig, and Daniel Craig of Missouri, She was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be forever missed. There will be a memorial service for Joyce at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary.
