Joyce and i met at a resturant we both hung out at. We became quite close , sharing many good times with each other. Joyces daughters Jamie and Jonna used to stay at my house we had good times including a couple of their birthday parties therec. We sort of lost touch in the last year but i always remembered her and the fun we had, and heartaches we shared.
I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I knew Joyce through the Chicagoland Electrical Association. Joyce was such a kind, caring, giving and fun lady. We went to my first Jimmy Buffett concert together at Alpine Valley. Joyce always spoke of the two of you so lovingly. Take comfort in your memories of your dear mom.
I remember Joyce living in Niota and going to school in Nauvoo. She always had a beautiful smile. I remember her at some of the reunions but didn't have contact other than that. She was a good person in school.
Sorry to hear of the loss of Joyce. She was a classmate from Nauvoo Colusa graduating class. I loss contact with her but always enjoyed her in highschool. You will be in my prayers.
My deepest sympathy to your family. As a classmate of Nauvoo-Colusa class of 1974, I enjoyed Joyce’s sense of humor and bubbly personality. She and I spent daily bus trips to Hamilton for child care class, laughing usually all of both ways. I appreciated her zest for life. She will be fondly remembered.
