Joyce Fay Taylor Green, age 73, of Gretna, LA, passed away March 11, 2022 after battling dementia for nearly a year.

Joyce Green was born on March 7, 1949 in Suffolk, Virginia. She was married to her husband, Max Stanley Green, for nearly 50 years. Joyce was lovingly known as the Avon Lady among friends in the French Quarter. She was always a source of laughter, compassion, and conversation. She found happiness in her family, friends, animals, books, and in babysitting children for most of her life.

Joyce is survived by her son, Ronald Green, daughter, Robin Green, grandchildren Christian Enfinger, Shayanne Green, and Madisson Green, and siblings-in-law Phillip Green, Steven Green, and Sally Pehrson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robin Taylor and Georgetta Chambers, siblings Terry, Edward, and Juanita, husband Max Green, and son Bradley Green.
