Joyce's obituary

Joyce Ann Graham, nee Luton, passed away peacefully in her sleep March 14, 2020, at home in the loving care of her family. Joyce, or "J.G." as she loved to be called, was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on May 20, 1940 to Lillian and Samuel Luton. She was the youngest of three children with brother Bill and sister Marilyn. Much of J.G.'s early childhood was happily spent on her family's farm in the beautiful small town of Eminence Missouri. After the early passing of her dear father Samuel, J.G. and her family moved to Kirkwood, Missouri where her mother remarried a very good man by the name of Fred Grossheider. She attended Concordia Lutheran Church there and graduated from Kirkwood High School, class of 1958.
After graduation Joyce married John Howell in 1959 and bore three children, April Lynn, Richard Allen and Mark Brien.
That marriage dissolved and Joyce remarried to Raymond Graham and the family was moved to Granite City, Illinois. A beautiful baby girl, Tammy Renee, was born to the union but was taken too early after a tragic accident at home. The loss of Tammy was devastating and was the greatest sorrow of J.G.'s life.
