We are saddened to announce the passing of Joyce Ann Meredith (also known as Joyce Ann Dye and Joyce Ann Jewett) on January 31, 2026. Born on July 23, 1955, Joyce faced her share of life's challenges but showed real strength and determination—most notably by earning her GED later in life, an accomplishment she held with great pride and that inspired those around her.

In recent years, she made her home in a care facility where she received dedicated support. She is lovingly survived by her sons: Gary of Lexington, Kentucky; Richard (Melissa) of Glenwood, Indiana; Michael (Lauren) of Maryville, Tennessee; and Jonathan Dye of Connersville, Indiana. She also leaves behind her siblings Grace Lockhart and Eddie Meredith, along with cherished memories shared with them over the years.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Meredith and Dorothy Griffith; her stepfather, Paul Griffith; her brother Ronnie Griffith; her sister Debbie Allen; her brother-in-law James Lockhart.

Her legacy will continue through her grandchildren—Joshua, Ryan (Mercedes), Meleah, Quinlan, Jaylen, Riley, Stormie Dye, Ashton Wright, Austin Wright—and great-granddaughter Avarie Gribbin. As they remain part of her family circle, carrying forward the bonds of love she held for them.

Though her path had its hardships, Joyce was a mother and grandmother who loved in her own way. She is at rest now, and may her memory bring comfort to those who hold her close in their hearts.
