Joyce Hazel Cole

Joyce Cole was a long-time resident of Camarillo, CA, and passed away peacefully on March 7, 2022. She was 85 years old.

Joyce always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. As a loving and caring woman, she always gave her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood.

She is survived by her three daughters: Teri Wolfe, Lori Wolfe, and Susan Brown, her sister Phyllis Short, granddaughter Alex Brown, cousins Loretta Blevins and Harry Wales, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Joyce was born in Basin, Wyoming May 10, 1936, where she graduated from high school. Joyce married Edward Wolfe (1927-1989) from Nebraska and moved to California where they started their family. Later in life, she married Don Cole (1938 - 2016) also of Camarillo.  Although Joyce lived in many parts of California and Oregon, she spent the last 32 years in Camarillo, calling it home.

Joyce enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests. She was a member of Camarillo area vintage car clubs and The Center for Spiritual Living, where she was a Practitioner. She loved square dancing, painting, and music. Until her last days, she sang show tunes with her daughters.

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family will always think of her as a graceful, beautiful woman inside and out. She will be tenderly missed, and always remembered.
