Joyce Carroll Brown (nee Elkerson) was born September 16, 1939 in Washington DC. Sadly, she departed this life on January 21, 2023.
Joyce was educated in the D.C. Public School system. After graduating from Mary Washington High School, she went on to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN), beginning a lifetime of service to others.
