Joyce Lee Baumia age 70 of Romulus, MI passed away peacefully on February 6th 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Joyce was born in Trenton Michigan to the late Isabel and William Painter on October 4th, 1955.

She married her loving husband Clifford Baumia on August 19th, 1978. She was a loving mother to David, Janelle (Clay Campbell), Andrea (Kenan Zakaria), and Amanda (Roy Seamster).

She was a devoted grandmother to Tyler, Megan, David, Michael, Devin, Rachel, Hannah, Mackenzie, Aliya, and Khamel, great grandmother to Tyler Jr., Tianna, and William, loving sister to Leonard, Arthur and Jan as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son David, husband Clifford, and brother Arthur.

Joyce was a lifelong caregiver, she was remembered by friends and family for her compassion and kind spirit. She was an avid Tigers fan, enjoyed music and spending time with her family.
