I was introduced to Shannon through my friend Andrea at a time when my family was struggling with my mother’s dementia. She didn’t just come in and “do a job” Shannon showed up with patience, gentleness joy and showered my mother with love and made her feel safe and seen. She even showed up with Christmas gifts not just for my mother but for the whole family; even if she didn’t hit in Atlantic City lol….When it became necessary to move my mother into a care home, Shannon would still visit with my mother, paint her nails, hair, talk and simply be a friend. We often had to insist she accept payments! Her care came from a place of pure, selfless kindness. My family is forever grateful and truly blessed to have had Shannon in our lives.  When Shannon would share stories about her children it was with such pride and love. I wish we could have met them.  I never met a woman with such a big heart.  The world has lost an exceptionally considerate and naturally sweet soul.   My deepest condolences to your family.  I pray God surrounds you with peace and comfort.  Heaven gained a beautiful angel! ❤️🙏🏽
I can't believe I'm sending condolences for my sister cousin Shannon. My grandparents first granddaughter/grandchild. She was more than a cousin to me and my siblings, she was our big sister. She lit up the room no matter where she was. Constantly bringing joy and laughter to everyone. I will miss that so much. As she sleeps now we await on seeing her again. I deeply loved her and will continue to love her, the kids, granddaughter and my other cousins Scott aka Chris and Sean.
