Joy L Dennis of Leawood Ks passed  away on April 13 2022 at  Advent Care Center of Overland Park  Ks.  She was born on July 22 1948 in Axtell Ks,  but grew up in the Kansas City area. She leaves behind sister Nancy Dennis of Leawood, Ks and brothers Matt Dennis of Leawood Ks and Tom(Sheila)Dennis of Olathe Ks.  She also leaves behind a niece and two nephews and  a grand nephew and two grand nieces.   Joy graduated from St Teresa High School in 1967. She worked for the IRS for many years.  She was also involved in genealogy and researched our family history.  We will miss her.  Mass at Cure of Ars Catholic Church in Leawood Ks on  Tuesday April 19 2022 at 1030 AM.  Burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City Ks.
