Joy was always such a joy! She was one of the most giving people I ever met . She was not only a client for many years but a friend.  I am deeply saddened and heartbroken for Chuck Justin and Martin. I will not be able to attend the funeral but will celebrate her beautiful life in spirit love you guys! Something i always loved was her stories of martin and justin and all they were doing she was so proud ! miss  you beautiful friend ❤️

I did Joy's hair for a few year.  It was around when her son got married and she couldn't be happier than talking about her kids.  Every visit was a JOY!  She was so full of life and loved all of her family and friends fiercely.  I know she will be greatly missed.

Joy was a very special person . She wasn’t just an employer but became a really special friend  She treated everyone the same .  I also had the pleasure of watching her two children grow up . If you know them you see what a wonderful job Joy and Chuck did as parents  . I loved this family dearly !!

Joy was the very definition of her name. When we were at an NIN event we bonded over talking about our dogs and kids. She was such a kind giving person and boy did we share some laughs! I will never forget her beaming huge smile. Rest in Peace Joy and my heartfelt condolences to her family and pets.

Joy meant so much to me. She was so generous and caring for others. I will deeply miss her. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to be apart of her love for plants and shared it with others. I will never forget her smile and kind words of encouragement. Forever in our hearts and memory.

No way could I share just one story about Joy who I’ve known and loved for over 25 years.  In my eyes Joy has always been larger than life.  She made everyone she meet feel special. She loved people and showed it with her entire being.  From beach trips, to pool time, to training and doing a 3-day, 50-mile walk in Chicago, to just hanging out and eating dinner, I am blessed for every minute I spent with Joy and family. Great wife & mother; great business woman; great friend. I miss you tremendously Joy Daugherty. Until we are in heaven belly laughing again—there will be a big hole in my heart.

Joy was a wonderful lady that I enjoyed knowing.  She and Chuck were always smiling and so happy.  Joy’s work was fantastic and I will miss her.  Prayers for her family during this difficult time.
