Josephine “Josie” O’Connell of Barron, Wi passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2022 at the age of 74. 

Josie was Born on February 26th, 1948 to Genevieve and Joseph Elias in St. Paul, MN. 

Josie was a fun and loving person with a heart of gold. She loved entertaining people and spent many years as a Bartender and was a former owner of a couple taverns during the 80’s-early 90’s.

Josie loved her family very much and loved spending as much time with them as possible. They were her entire world. 

Josie is survived by her Daughters: Stephanie and Michelle.  Granddaughters: Josie and Isabella “Bella”.  Sister: Maryanne. Brothers: David and Jerry, as well many nieces and nephews.

Josie is proceeded in death by Parents: Genevieve and Joseph. Brother: Joseph and Nephew: Joseph “Joey”. 

A funeral service is not being held at this time. A private celebration of life for Josie will be posted at a later date.
