Josiah's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Josiah Lee Hudspeth, born on November 10, 2004, who left us far too soon on October 11, 2023. A cherished son, brother, grandson, and uncle, Josiah is deeply mourned by his loving family, including his father, Tim Hudspeth; mother, Robin White Hudspeth; sisters, Megan Hudspeth and Deanna Hudspeth Angeline; brothers, Jackson Hudspeth and Ridge Angeline; nephews, Brekken and Boden Angeline, grandfather, Jack Hudspeth; and grandmother Lynnette Hudspeth. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald White, and grandmother, Mary Lou White.
Josiah was a proud graduate of Orangewood Christian School's Class of 2023. He was a devout Christian, continuing his families 40 year legacy of involvement at Journey Christian Church. Josiah made the decision to follow Jesus and was baptized at the age of 7 on August 28, 2011.
A lover of the outdoors, Josiah's favorite place to be was in nature. He was happiest when he was on the water or in the mountains. He loved surfing, boating, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and being on the golf course making memories with "his boys."
Those who knew Josiah knew him to be witty, kind, sweet, funny, adventurous, smart, humble, grounded, gentle, loving, genuine, and generous. He lived life to the fullest, never complained, never went to bed angry, put others' needs before his own, fully committed to whatever he decided to do, and was ever-forgiving.
Josiah will be remembered for the relationships he built and the impact he made on all those he came in contact with. He leaves behind a legacy characterized by humility and generosity that will be carried out by those who love him.
Josiah Lee lived a fulfilled life despite its brevity. His spirit will be remembered and celebrated by all those whose lives he touched.
