Joshua “Tanner” Williams, age 18, of Lyons, died Saturday, May 25, 2013 from injuries received in an automobile accident in the Center Community. He was a lifelong resident of Lyons, a 2013 Graduate of Toombs County High School, and attended the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. Tanner was an avid outdoorsman, and was passionate about “mudboggin”, hunting, and fishing. He loved his truck and spending time with his friends. Tanner was preceded in death by a sister, Michele Williams; paternal grandparents, Truett and Joyce Williams; and maternal great-grandparents, P.G. and Louise Newton. 

 Tanner is survived by his parents, Doug and Lisa Williamson Williams; one brother, Justin Williams; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Nancy Williamson all of Lyons; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

 The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 30th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Efton Green officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. 

 The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00.
