To all of the family!  I didn’t know Joshua personally, however I’ve known his parents and family for many years.  I know what a fine Christian man Dale and Martha Parker raised and how much they loved their family.  My heart is broken for my dear sister and her beautiful family!  Sending lots of love and praying for comfort.  ❤️🙏

I got to know Bro. Josh around 2012. He came from Mammoth Spring and spent time with us. He went on a camping trip during spring break with my 2 grandsons and I. We spent the night, got cold, but had a good time too. It was on this trip that it came on my heart to ask Josh if he would like to work in my office. He decided that he would. He started working after school for a short time until school was out. He was a faithful worker and worked with us almost 7 years. I was certainly disappointed when he decided to leave and do other work. We spent many hours together at work, home and at church.  We prayed together many times.  Bro. Josh stood for the Word of the Lord brought to us through God’s messenger, Brother William Marrion Branham. He loved Brother Joseph and we spent hours streaming his services together.Â
Brother Josh always called me Brother Laban, no matter where we were. That was a blessing to me. It’s hard to understand why God called our precious young brother home, but it’s such a comfort to know that he trusted our Lord Jesus Christ for his Savior.  The Bible says in Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. We suffer a great loss in our little church group and will certainly miss him. We believe that we will see him again very soon. May God rest your gallant soul, our precious Brother Josh!! We will do whatever we can for his beloved family.Â

Sister Ruthie, words aren’t good enough. Every time I go to write something it’s just not enough. I don’t think we have met, and you may not even know of me, but I grew up with Josh and Daniel and they are long, long time family friends of my family. 3 generations worth of friendships. I just want to say that my heart has broken for you, your little ones and for the rest of the family. You have our most sincere and heartfelt prayers going up for you constantly. I know it’s not the same, but we are truly burdened by the loss of Josh who is a very dear Brother in Christ. Heaven is getting sweeter and sweeter every day. I heard that you had gone to the SW Camp in Indiana, and if that is true I know you will know this song that Brother G. sang around the campfire. “Jesus Is Coming For His Bride.” That song has been on repeat in my mind since I heard of Josh’s passing. I know he is rejoicing with the rest of the Saints who are waiting for us just beyond the Curtain.  Soon and very soon we will be There rejoicing as well. May the Lord bless you and keep you.Â
