Background
Josh's love for animals was unparalleled. Josh spent over $7,000 to ensure his beloved schnauzer Dexter, received the veterinary care he so desperately needed after his diagnosis with Cushing's and diabetes.
After the loss of Dexter, Josh made the decision to adopt a rescue dog.
Dug was a lab mix that helped Josh through the grieving process of losing Dexter, and gave him renewed purpose in life. After adopting Dug, Josh told his dad that he wanted his belongings donated to a no-kill shelter. This is our way of honoring what Josh would have wanted. Contribute to San Antonio Pets Alive
