Joshua's obituary

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Joshua Jhangho Jeon, who was born in Pyongyang, Korea on October 10, 1935. He left this world peacefully on February 23, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. Joshua was a strong believer of Christ and was a senior elder of both Life Creek Church in Milwaukee, WI and then also at Youngnak Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, CA.

He was an avid golfer, delighted in singing, and loved to tell stories. He graduated Seoul University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Eisenberg Company for many years in Seoul, Korea before he and his family immigrated to the United States in 1978.  In Milwaukee, he worked at Kempsmith Machine Company in West Allis before he retired and eventually moved to Los Angeles.

Joshua is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 67 years, Christina Inaie, as well as his 3 children, Grace (Roger), Paul (Jae), and Esther (Scott), along with 5 grandchildren and siblings in both Canada and Korea. He is preceded in death by his eldest son, David (Kris), in 2022.

Funeral will be held at Youngnak Presbytarian Church in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, March 17th at 11:00 am.  Join us in remembering Joshua as we remember and celebrate his life.
