I am reaching out to ask a friend or family member to contact me and please tell me how Joshua passed. I just found this news out yesterday through Facebook, many months later. I had no idea and would have attended the funeral if I knew. I can’t find any information on how he passed, only an obituary that does not mention these details. Can someone please tell me the story? I was very close with Joshua in Austin a long time ago but we lost contact in the last years. I would very much like to find out how he passed at only 43. This is very sad and sudden news to me. Thank you 🙏

Dear Huck Family, we are shocked and sad to hear of Joshua’s passing. Although we haven’t kept in touch over the years, we treasure the friendship we had with your family. We remember when your family came over to our house to swim in our above ground pool. 

Please know that we are praying for you as you go through this very difficult time.

Dear Family and Friends of Josh,

I was deeply saddened to hear about Josh's passing. During our time together in middle school and high school, I remember Josh as a kind and genuine person who brought joy to those around him. Although we lost contact after graduation, the memories of our friendship remain and I will always remember him as a good friend who was intelligent with a great sense of humor.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Josh was just a wonderful soul…. And an actual super talent. He came into my life a couple different times when I needed someone exactly like him. I’m so sorry for this loss.. I hadn’t talked to Josh in a number of years, but thought about him often, recently.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear this news. Josh was truly one-of-a-kind. Me and the other Heyride co-founders have many fond memories of our time with him. My heart goes out to everyone in his family.
