When Josephine was with us at Charlie Claw's we had lots of fun & laughter. Today, saddened to hear from Eunice we were heartened to realise so many girls & ladies who'd been part of the team over the years keep in touch & support each other. A story that may bring a smile at this sad time....Josephine was coming up to Nairobi for an exhibition & we were offered the chance to fly in a friend's 'plane. At the time a new experience for our Josphine. Upon landing from a ratherbumpy flight Josephine announced " you didn't tell me there were potholes in the sky!". Took the bus back when the exhibition was over.Β

Josephine Mbandi has been a good role model. Very caring and loving, Always motivated to leave impact on people's live. We all received our Bachelor of Information Technology degrees from South Eastern Kenya University in the same class, same year.Β She was among the first friends to share with me about Scholarship opportunity and studies at Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology which after I made the application forΒ the scholarship it went successful, We had a very long period last year (2022) with her runningΒ Afristem Program, We visited the three counties of Ukambani in Kenya; Makueni County, Machakos County , and Kitui County where we reached several Primary Schools sensitizing them on the need for climate conservation, tree planting, and attaining AirΒ Quality. Personally, I cherish her very much. Your are our hero, We are have learned a lot from your very dear life, Once again thank you. Your friend Japheth MumoΒ
