Josephine's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine "Jo" Mann, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.  Her life began on March 11, 1934 in New York City, and ended peacefully on August 20, 2023 in her home in Roswell, Georgia.

Jo is remembered for the unfathomable love she had for her family. Throughout her life, she dedicated her time, energy and heart into her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother, brightening the world around her with her love and care.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Mann, with whom she shared countless beautiful memories in their 69 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that carries on her legacy.

She was a proud mother to her sons, Bob (Anne), Mike (Kath), and Steven, and her daughter, Dorothea Mann. Her love for them was boundless and unwavering, and her memory is deeply embedded in their hearts. Her teachings, care and wisdom will continue to guide them throughout their lives.

Josephine's love extended to her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matt) Pellegrom, Rob Mann, and Mary  Katherine (Caleb) Mitchell. She took great joy in her role as a grandmother, cherishing every moment she spent with them. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in their lives, serving as a beacon of kindness, compassion, and love.

Josephine is also survived by her brother, Edward (Evelyn) DeBlasio, and her sister, Angela Johnson.

Words cannot truly encapsulate the profound impact Jo made on the lives of all who had the fortune to know her. Her memory will forever remain engraved in the hearts of her beloved family and all those she touched with her love and kindness.
