Joseph E. Wing, Jr. (June 3, 1931 - May 30, 2018, age 86)

Joseph E. Wing, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on May 30, 2018 at the age of 86 near his home in Lake Elsinore, California. Born on June 3, 1931 in Minnesota to Joseph and Gladys Wing, Joe served in the Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War.

After attending Compton Junior College, Joe married his wife Nancy Coffaro in 1954, and they remained devoted partners for 63 years. Joe had a distinguished career, working for the Los Angeles Police Department for 25 years before transitioning to the television and movie industry for another 20 years. He also worked as a real estate developer and agent alongside his wife.

An avid outdoorsman, Joe enjoyed skiing, surfing, and weightlifting. He was an active member of the Lutheran church, where he was baptized, confirmed, and married.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, their two children Michael and Susan, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his two younger brothers Lloyd and Roger from Idaho. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
