We would like to take an opportunity to thank all of Dad's friends and family who have shared stories and checked in on us during this difficult process. Words cannot express the gratitude that we have knowing such wonderful people loved and cared about him with treasured friendships that expanded decades.

We are currently working on scheduling a military service at Arlington National Cemetery and concluding with a memorial at sea where we will scatter his ashes in the waters of his beloved St. Pete Beach, Florida. We will keep everyone updated once the dates are set.

Joseph "Joe" Edward Wilson Jr., 69, passed away on September 17, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born May 27, 1950 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Joseph "Ed" Wilson, Sr. (d. 2011) and Marion Edith (Strohmetz) Newton (d. 2011). He was the youngest of two sons raised by his father and Stepmother Sybelle Iris (Wright) (d. 2011).

He was a 1969 graduate of King High School in Tampa, Florida and graduated from Hillsborough …
