Obituary:
Joseph Clinton Whitcomb, age 57, of Princeton, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2024, in Krakow, Poland. Joe was born on March 24, 1967, in Princeton, Minnesota and graduated High School at Faith Christian School in Foreston, MN.
Joseph lived his life boldly and unapologetically, leaving a colorful mark on all who knew him.
Joseph served in the Air Force from 1986 to 1994, honing his skills and discipline. He then pursued a career as a psychologist graduating with his Masters Degree from Pepperdine University. He specialized in trauma therapy, dedicating himself to helping others heal. For the past three years, he was in Europe developing a VR Therapy Program, showcasing his innovative approach to mental health care. Joseph was also a prolific writer, authoring multiple books that enriched the lives of many.
In his free time, Joe indulged in various hobbies such as deep-sea fishing, dancing, karaoke, and traveling the world. He found solace near the ocean, enjoyed hiking, fine dining, 80's rock music, grilling, bike riding and even skydiving. His zest for life was contagious, and his childlike wonder and enthusiasm touched all those around him.
Joseph is survived by his Father Arnold Whitcomb, Mother Sally Whitcomb, Children; Sonia Hartland, Gannon Patton, Jordanne Wells, Meigan Whitcomb, Ashley Guertin, and Jami Nygaard, as well as his Grandchildren; Skylar, Samuel, Hunter, Mackinsey, Peighton, Kihyla, Gavyn, Jayce and Harrison. Siblings; Dan Whitcomb, William Whitcomb, Andrew Whitcomb, Rosann Haggerty, Maryjo Miller, and Susan Swain, Special Friend, Hanna Osuch, Cousins Jesse and Kris Holmes and a very large extended family. He is preceded in death by his brother Jon Whitcomb.
A ceremony in honor of Joseph Whitcomb will be held at New Life Church in Princeton at a later date as well as a Celebration of Life in Carlsbad, California, still to be determined. His spirit of adventure and love will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
