Joseph's obituary
Joe was born on August 26th, 1988 in Minneapolis, MN to Luxton and Lisa (Coenen) Brooks. He has one Brother and four Sisters. He has one Son and one Daughter. He was a sensitive, caring, loving and protective Father, Brother and Son. He was a devoted family man, he took pride in his children and actively trying to better himself for them. He loved fishing and exploring the outdoors. His dream was always to have lots of land and to build his own cabin in the woods. Joe was an entrepreneur of many traits from being a Chef, cooking many delicious meals to a Mechanic, fixing and selling cars like his father, He could do it all. Joe was a charismatic, straight-forward and passionate person that everyone wanted to be around. He was a sentimental person who wore his heart on his sleeve & always had a way to make you feel cherished.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Luxton (Buddy) Brooks; his Siblings, Adam Brooks, and Corinne Brooks; his Grandparents, Melvin and Ruth (Hallberg) Brooks & Richard Coenen; Uncle, Steve Brooks; and Cousins, Jennifer Kelley, Trae Lattie, and Christina Coenen.
Joe is survived by two children, Carter James Brooks & Preslee Rae Brooks, his mother, Lisa (Les) Brooks - Davis of Minneapolis, his Sisters, Breanna Brooks, Ashley Brooks both of Saint Cloud, step-sister, Dominique Hadoulis, step-brother, Stephen Davis of Minneapols and five nieces and nephews, Ja’Leah, Shairaz, Sabrea, Za’Chary & Aja. Grandmother, Anneliese (Hartwich) Coenen. Joe is also survived by great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and many cousins.
