Joseph Thomas Raines, also known as Joe Raines, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Barron WI, at the age of 58. Born on January 6, 1965, in St.Paul, MN. Joe was a loving and devoted father, grandpa, great grandpa, son, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Joe had a vibrant personality and love for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling on trails, spending quality time with his kids, family and friends. Cribbage and latch hooks were his favorite pastimes. Joe's kind hearted nature left a lasting impact on those that knew him. 

Joe is survived by his four children,  Crystal Pineda Martinez (Linder), Timothy Raines (Ambrie), Amanda Raines (Andrew) and Robert Raines(Annie). Proud grandpa to thirteen grandchildren: Selena, Jakob, McKayla, Faith, Mark, Timmy, Daniel, Emma, Gabby, Annalye, McKenzie, Kaylynn,and Matthew. He had one great granddaughter Amara. Joe is also survived by his loving mother, Anita Nybeck, three sisters Tracy, Kim and Ann. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Nybeck, father Joseph Dandl, grandma Lillian Raines, grandma Irene Dandl, grandpa Joseph Dandl, his brother Kevin Nybeck and several aunts and uncles including Jeanie Radke, Ronald Radke, Betty Dreyling. 

Joe graduated from Johnson High School in 1983. He pursued higher education at Dunwoody.

 Though Joe's military career was cut short due to a knee injury during Army Boot camp in 1983. 

Joseph Thomas Raines will forever be remembered for his love of his family, his adventurous spirit and his kindness.
