Joseph Valentino Platina Jr., 84, passed away Thursday October 14, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at Capital Christian Center. Joseph was born December 31, 1936 in Jackson, CA. He was the first born son to Joseph Valentino Platina Sr. and Lucille Cassulo Platina. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1955. He attended Sacramento State University where he played football and ran track until he was drafted into the United …
