Joseph's obituary
Joseph Irving Kulka peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 22, 2024. Joe was born in March of 1950 in Lockport, New York, to Joseph and Anabelle (Halstead) Kulka. Joe's journey took him to Santa Ana, California, where he attended high school until answering the call to serve his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
A dedicated aluminum press operator for over 42 years, Joe's commitment to excellence was a testament to his character. In retirement Joe and his devoted wife found peace in the serene landscapes of Fairbanks, Alaska, where they built a tranquil life together.
Joe was known for his amazing culinary skills, and he spent mornings cooking breakfast feasts for his cherished pup, Bunny. He was a devout Catholic, and his faith was the cornerstone of his life, along with a deep love for his family and an enduring passion for Dodger baseball.
