Joe, it's been awhile but I have not forgotten you and the love I felt from you and Diane growing up. I have always looked up to the both of you as family, because mine was always so chaotic and you felt like a safe place.  Always so loving, patient and kind. Ty for giving that to me even tho I wasn't your own. You will both be forever in my heart.  ❤️  I'm so thankful that God brought you into my life. You both helped in making me who I am today. God, Strength, Family,  and Love! That's what I think about  when I think of you. Rip 🙏

Joe was a special guy to me. He is not forgotten. Just the other day I was thinking about him and the last time we met Joe and Diane when we were in the Chicago area. I now lead a cancer care ministry in our church and I talk abot Joe when training our volunteers. His courage and hope are still inspiring others in ministry.

Joe, is greatly missed! Yet his legacy continues through his lovely wife Diane, children, grandchildren, family and friends. I take comfort in knowing we will see each other again because we are promised in John 14:2 "In My Father's house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you." All of our departed loved ones are helping in preparing a place for each of us and one day, we will all be reunited. May God's peace be with all of you!
Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was so kind and had such a great smile. You were an excellent example of Love. xoxo Many prayers for God's comfort and peace.

I'm so thankful that God allowed my life to intersect with Joe and his family. As a younger youth pastor, I was blessed to have Joe volunteer to serve on our team. He was a committed youth leader and he modeled what a loving and committed father and husband looks like to the students and I. I will never forget Joe sitting behind me on our long bus ride to Florida and back with the students. On those trips you get to see a person's true colors and what they're really made of. Joe was the real deal and I witnessed the love of Jesus pour out of him and I'm better for knowing him...as were our students. My heart and prayers go out to Diane and the girls. May the promise of Psalm of 34:18 be evident to you in this season... "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." Ann and I love you guys.
