Joseph's obituary

With great sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Joseph R Havranek age 60, who left us peacefully on October 2, 2023. Joe was born on August 19, 1963 and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

Joseph was the proud and loving father of his sons Joe Havranek, Jack Havranek, and Tom (Kelly) Andrews, and grandfather of Leah, Alayna, and Tom Jr. He was a beloved son to his mother Stephanie Havranek and was predeceased by his father Joseph W Havranek. Joseph was a loving brother to Annette Havranek (Terry) Del Pizzo, Robert (Suzanne) Havranek, and Stephen (Amy) Havranek. He was the fun and loving uncle of Amanda (Ryan) Gnagy, Jason (Shannon) Mondrach, Terry Del Pizzo Jr. (deceased), Courteny (Donovan) Bodine, Joseph P Havranek, Robert Havranek and Emily Havranek (deceased). As a Great Uncle to Brynn Gnagy, Cole Gnagy, Wyatt Mondrach and Weston Mondrach, Joseph held a special place in the hearts of the younger generation.

Joseph was a one-of-a-kind soul, known for his boundless love, unwavering care, and unmatched generosity. His life was a testament to his incredible sense of humor and selflessness. Joseph's spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

Joseph dedicated his life to the noble profession of nursing, where his compassion and care made a profound impact on the lives of countless patients. His legacy as a caregiver will be remembered and cherished by those he served.

Perhaps one of the greatest testaments to Joseph's generosity was his decision to be a cornea organ donor in his final act of kindness. In his passing, he has given the gift of sight to others, further extending his legacy of care for others.

Joseph's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. He will be intensely missed but never forgotten. He was a beacon of love and kindness, who thought of others first and himself last, touching countless lives. His memory will continue to bring warmth and light to our lives, just as he did while he was with us.
