Joe "FUZZY" Genova was much more then a friend Joe was a Brother, not by blood but by a very close friendship. Except for the time I spent in the U.S. Navy we were pretty much always together. Joe LOVED ALL sports, it didn't make any difference what kind and he was good at most. For the last 5 years or more of Joe's life we not only went to a few ball games but mostly would sit and watch football together him in at home in Alabama and me in Florida. I even bought a phone earpiece so I wouldn't have to hold the phone for 3 hrs at a time.

In 2019 we went to see Gamecock baseball game for his birthday. That was a few months after his first heart attack. Later that year (Summer) Joe lost his wonderful wife, he seemed to downhill after that. 

I have delayed posting anything about Joe because it's so difficult to get through this. It's been VERY hard getting through this year without him. 

Love and Miss you my Brother!

I am so sad to hear about Joe’s passing. 

I will miss our long phone conversations and his love of family.
