Joseph “Jay” Wilfred Furbert born December 13th 1950 in Hartford, CT. After graduating high school in Connecticut he went on to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War, he served for 7 years before joining the Navy where he traveled the world for 16 years before retiring in Washington in 1992. He later moved to San Diego,CA where he attended nursing school and met his wife Rachel Furbert in 1998, they were married in …
