After being stationed in France with the U.S. army, Joe Returned to New York City where he attended NY Institute of Photography and worked in several studios, including a position in Beth David hospital learning medical photography. Joe’s love and natural talent for the arts grew to combining painting and photography, which ultimately defined his career.
In 1961 Joe relocated his family to Long Branch, NJ, where he continued working for several local studios. He thoroughly enjoyed fatherhood and raising his two sons Greg and Mark.
