My heartfelt condolences to his friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed my criminology classes with Dr. Domino, almost as much as he seemed to enjoy teaching them. He was definitely a wonderful and positive force in my university experience, and I only wish there had been a criminology degree offered at the time I attended.
He was my absolute favorite during not only my bachelor's work, but also my Master's work. He pushed me to my limits and even further than that. He brought out the best in me. He cared so much about his students and wanted nothing but the best from them. He will be dearly missed at Texas A&M University Kingsville by his students and by his peers. My sincere condolences to all of you. Such a wonderful and humble individual that I had the pleasure of learning from.
For the people that knew me in school they knew that Dr. Domino was my favorite professor and a very special person to me. He helped me so much when I first moved to the US. He was patient and caring. He always believed in me and cheered me on. Always realistic as well! Several times he told me I was like his daughter, and he used to sing for me in Spanish “Maria, Maria." He was ALWAYS available when I needed someone to talk to or when I was homesick. He thought me a lot, a great, brilliant professor… I loved all his classes! My heart is broken. My sincere condolences to the Domino Family.

Thank you so much for everything Dr. Domino. RIP.

Dr. Domino was a special person. He was a permanent fixture in my life during my bachelors. Domino NEVER let me allow the “odds” to stop me and never let me feel sorry for my situations. He used to say, “Christina you’re already in college, you’ve beat the statistics already, just keep getting up and beating them more and more everyday”. His words stayed with me. His passion for teaching was undeniable and his love for his family and football was definitely always a topic. The day I graduated he met me in the hallway and said “well Ms. Christina, I guess you beat the statistics again” that was confirmation that he was proud LOL. I pray for his family and friends and all that loved and adored Dr. Domino. May he rest easy!
