Joseph Butta passed away on April 14th, 2022 at the age of 83 years old. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the Navy with an honorable discharge in 1962. Beloved Father of Loraine Burke, Jennifer Butta, Christine Butta, and Lynn Reublinger. Grandfather to Christopher Burke II and Angela Sopko. Great grandfather to Isabella Grant. Father-in-law to Christopher Burke, and Colin Reublinger . Loving brother to Alice Stellato, Nancy Toscano, as well as the late Shirley Rivera, and Ralph Butta. Uncle to Diane, Joy, John, Mark, Audrey, Nadine, Ray, Roseann, and Anthony. Ex-Husband of his High School sweetheart, Barbara Butta.

Joe was an extremely kind man with a great sense of humor. All who met him immediately loved him. He won many awards in his career, working for the airlines starting out at Pan American Airlines at JKF airport in NY. He later moved out to Northern California to continue working at Pan Am as well as Aeroground and Emirates Airlines.

Even though his career was successful, he was most proud of his four daughters considering it the greatest accomplishment in his life. His family was most important to him and was happiest when around them. Joe was very charming, handsome, dedicated to his work, and of course, dedicated to his family.

He was also an avid reader. He would read anything he could get his hands on. He had a sharp mind and a thirst for knowledge. He was also very generous and donated to many causes, especially St. Judes and Wounded Warriors.
