Jose's obituary

Jose Luis Rodriguez, 58, passed away on March 13, 2022 in Bakersfield, CA.

English:

Jose was born on September 16, 1963 in Churintzio, Michoacán, Mexico. He was the youngest son to Juanita and Nicomedes Rodriguez and had 8 siblings.

In his teen years he would travel back and forth between the U.S. and Mexico to work in the strawberry fields in Santa Maria, CA. At the age of 20, he met the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe in his hometown. Due to him working abroad, they kept in touch for nine months by writing letters and fell in love. On February 1st, 1986 they got to say, “I DO…to love and cherish ‘till death do us part.” Two years into their marriage they were blessed with their daughter Maribel, and later had two sons, Juan Carlos and Joseph.  Jose found joy and comfort spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Everywhere he went he thought of his loved ones and gifted tokens to show his love and appreciation. During his last days he was at peace with himself, and was delighted to travel with his wife, and make small upgrades to their new home. He will forever be loved and missed ‘till the moon is no more.
