Jose H. Chavez Jr. was born on July 17, 1929 in Bulan, Sorsogon, Philippines. He was the third of nine children born to Jose (Sr) and Aniana Hinto. He met the love of his life, Beata Chavez (nee. DeVera), whom he married on March 15, 1954. Jose & Beata gave life to four children: Romeo, Ramir, Rey & Maria. Jose led a successful career in Finance Administration before immigrating to Canada in June of 1987 …
