It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jorge Gomez. Born on August 30, 2007, he sadly left us too soon on January 1, 2026. In his short but impactful life, Jorge touched many with his sincerity, love, and humor.
Jorge was a proud graduate of Kennewick High School, located at West 6th Avenue, Kennewick, WA, where he walked across the stage in the year 2025. Immediately after graduation, he served in the ROTC AIR FORCE, showing his dedication to service at a young age.
A food enthusiast, Jorge's favorite dish was Spaghetti. He was also a devoted fan of the Raiders, a fact known by all who knew him. Beyond enjoying sports, Jorge had a fondness for outdoor recreational activities. He loved BBQs, fishing, and playing video games. However, what he loved the most was spending time with his family and friends.
Throughout his life, Jorge showed a commitment to his causes. He believed in personal happiness, contentment, and the importance of helping out family and community. His kind, loving nature encapsulated his favorite color - Blue.
Jorge was a very smart and loving young man. His wit and humor brought smiles to all faces, truly embodying the role of a comedian amongst family and friends. He was also praised for his hard-working nature.
One of Jorge's lasting legacies will be the lessons he taught through his actions. His life was an embodiment of kindness, humor, and love. He led by example, inspiring all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Jorge is survived by his mother, Jarvis Morales, his father, Jorge Gomez, his sisters, Jessica Martinez, Joanna Martinez, Nina Morales, Marcella Morales, and Genesis Gomez, and his brother, Angelo DeLaCruz. As a family, they bond together in this time of sorrow and graciously accept the condolences extended by those who knew and loved Jorge.
While we grieve the loss of Jorge, we also celebrate an extraordinary life that touched many. His impact will forever remain with us, as we remember and honor a life well-lived.
