I had the privilege of working with Jorge at the bakery. Even during those 6 am morning shifts Jorge managed to make those days brighter with just his smile. He cared about everyone around him and worked so hard to make them happy. My greatest condolences to Jorge’s family and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I hope there’s all the macarons and peanut butter bombs you could wish for in heaven. I’ll miss you!

My daughter works at the bakery & came home with treats & i would ask with excitement.."Jesse who makes these treats, I never had anything so delicious" ...mom Jorge makes ...JORGE !...I must tell him how talented he is". Most importantly, she told me what a helpful, hardworking great guy Jorge was. Im very sorry to all his family, friends, co-workers that are in pain & sadness over Jorge untimely passing.

Jorge was an amazing mentor for my daughter, Jacki. He taught and shared with her so many valuable baking lessons. His loving, sweet, compassionate soul most certainly made this world a sweeter place in more ways than one. Thank you for taking me seriously about the ham, egg, and cheese croissant!

Most importantly, thank you for sharing almost a decade of your life with us. The smile on my face was genuine every time I walked into the bakery and saw you.

I will miss our fist bump handshakes.

You taught me a big lesson. Time is the only valuable asset we have in life.

I am sorry our time together has ended suddenly. I hope to see you on the other side someday, my friend.
