In high school I always had a camera in my hand, I caught all the fun, whether you wanted me to or not 😂 On days like today, after finding out about losing an old friend, it makes me feel better to look back on those memories. Jordan Cude was the sweetest guy, good friend, always smiling and ready to offer up a big cuda bear hug. He was very protective of his girl friends and was always there when we needed him.

He was always so open the years after high school about his struggles and would often reach out to me to catch up. I’m so glad of a chance run in with him last year to see him doing well and to have shared in a conversation about the joy of being parents to our sweet boys. We’ve unfortunately lost so many from our high school, but this one hit me very hard. Praying for the Cude family and everyone

Jordan, I couldn’t think of a more perfect celebration/memorial of your life... bonfires at your house in high school were how we spent most of our weekends, and tonight we all got to circle around a bonfire once again- although the bonfire certainly wasn’t the same without you there, I’m certain you were smiling down on all of us! I’m truly grateful for all of our memories we got to make together as high school sweethearts♥️ Rest In Peace

It was a beautiful service celebrating Jordan! ❤️🙏❤️... Beverly
We wish we knew the right words to provide comfort for the passing of Jordan, but we really don’t have any. Our hope is that eventually you will smile when you hear his name and be filled with the Joy of loving such a rare person.

Our family has come to learn that LOVE LIVES FOREVER and that we will all be reunited in the next world. Sounds like the Cude family learned that a long time ago.

Praying for peace and comfort for all her knew Jordan.

The Day Family

PS Thank you Cude family for you’ve done for our Jordan over the years!!!
Lisa,
I’m a life long friend of Nancy Brandau, we met a couple of times when I lived in Charlotte. Words can’t express the heartache I feel for you, Jordan and your entire family. A heartache I know all to well. Please except my deepest sympathies as well as my thoughts and prayers.

May God hold Jordan in the palm of His hand.....

Kate Patton
I have so many great memories of Jordan. We were inseparable throughout Middle School and High School. He was a part of my family and I equally felt like I was one of the Cude boys. Jordan, I now imagine you are riding off into the sunset in your lifted brown 4Runner, bumping Big Kuntry King. I remember going to pick up the 4Runner with you and your Dad...you loved that thing. I'll miss you brother and you'll always be on my mind. Love, Jack

Jordan Cude This man had been my rock for the past 5 and a half weeks with everything going on in my life. Having to move back to Charlotte, ending an 8 year relationship and everything that comes with that, my ex and all the bs that comes with custody with a 4 year old, the drama of moving back to Charlotte...he was the ONLY person outside of my family who made sure to stay awake and text me at exactly 12:01 am on my birthday to tell me Happy Birthday. He was the first man who took me on an actual date in over 8 years because even tho I was with my ex for 8 years, he never took me on a real dat. When I told him that, his response was, “well since he can’t be man enough, then I am going to step up and do it because that’s what You deserve.” We only got to go out on one official date and 2 lunch dates in that short period of time but it meant the world to me because after being in a mentally, emotionally abusive relationship for 8 years, it was a breath of fresh air to realize there may actually be decent guys out there. We were supposed to go bowling this past Saturday night because he said “he wanted to do something different then just the same old dinner and a movie that every other girl has gotten.” We had to reschedule for Sunday because I had to work last minute Saturday and that never got a chance to happen. But thank you. Thank you for showing me that not all guys are assholes and taking me out on what I consider my “first official date” because according to you, “that’s what I deserved and nothing less.” Because you made me Truly believe that and you made me feel beautiful after being told otherwise for so long by my sons father. I can’t even put into words how forever grateful I will be for you showing me that I am worth it and that I’m more then what my ex drilled into my head over and over again over 8 years. RIP 💕..
