It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathon Bollenbacher on October 2, 2023. Born on March 14, 1985, Jonathon lived a life full of love for everyone around him. 

Jonathon is survived by his father John Bollenbacher, his step-mother Jennifer Bollenbacher, and his mother Angelique Strang. His siblings, Tiffani Knoop, Stefani Simmons, Michael Bollenbacher, Christofer Kraniak, James Ross, Patrick Kraniak, April Kraniak, Amber Kraniak, Kelsey Gilley, Ashley Rose, and Harley Howell will remember him as a fiercely loyal and compassionate brother.

More than anything, Jonathon loved his family especially his children, Kathrine "Kati" Bollenbacher, Skylar Bollenbacher, and Matthew Duff. 

Jonathon had a deep love for sports, with a particular affinity for the Notre Dame football team. Outside of sports, he had diverse interests which consisted of cooking, music, kayaking, and fishing. His hobbies painted a picture of a man who relished life. Not one to be confined by routine, Jonathon was always on the lookout for the next adventure.

Known for his loving and caring nature, Jonathon was the one who always would give you a hug and an "I love you" before leaving. His ability to love without judgment and care without hesitation made him a cherished presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his untimely passing, we also celebrate the man he was - a loyal brother, a dear son, a loving father, and an unforgettable friend.

His legacy will continue in the lives of those he touched. As we navigate these difficult times, may we remember Jonathon's spirit and honor his memory by living our lives with the same passion and love that he showed us all.
