Happy Birthday bud. First time in over 4 decades we haven't been able to send a text to each other. Man, it hurts. Love you and miss you bro. Thanks for watching over us
Our hearts go out to you with love and compassion. May the Lord be with you and give you peace and comfort in your journey of grief.

My Sincere condolences to Breslin, Will and Cal, aka "Lil Duces" and the White family.  Jon was a co-worker and a friend and I my heard is sad but spirit is glad to have known him.   He was very special to me since I first met him.  So smart and professional, yet so down to earth and full of fun.  I learned a lot from him and he from me.  I pray for comfort and peace for the family in the days and months ahead.  God's blessings of solace with Breslin and the Boys and Mrs. White and the rest of the family.  RIP  "Meat-head"!  Gone too soon!

So many Christmas dinners, so…
So many Christmas dinners, so many weddings, birthdays, etc, you will be missed ❤️🙏🏻

Jon was the first person I met, the first day I got to VT. He was my temporary roommate wheel we tried out for the marching band. Upon the long walk back across campus to West A.J. dorm, we met Chris Gruendl who also didn’t make the drumline, and we spent the rest of that week commiserating and ultimately finding friendships that lasted the next 25 years.

Jon had a way of making everyone around him feel special.

Anytime one of his friends arrived, he would stop everything, give you a hug, and welcome you to the group. It was a unique quality I don’t know that I have ever come across again. He was relentless in his giving positive energy to everyone around him.

My condolences to Breslin and his kids, his family and his friends.

In 2010 I met Jon for the first time on a golf outing at Deer Run "Country Club" in Newport News Park. In his golf cart among range balls and borrowed equipment was a shabby looking crumbled piece of paper jotted with class lecture notes which he was using to furiously study for a William & Mary MBA course which was demanding much of his free time.  In the end he went on to transfer to Averett where we both managed to graduate together on the same day, me for a bachelors of business and John for his MBA. It was during the preparation to walk that day when someone in the group took the occasion to offer a blessing to anyone who may be up for it as they had a vile of holy water as it happened. Jon quite gratefully accepted and I remember to see the peace arrive to him in that moment. But for me this moment was profound, one I will not forget as revealed to me in the same time I saw in Jon what I always knew was there, it was Christ...but I had just only then recognised it. God had truly blessed this man and those in kind who had the opportunity to meet him.

I met Jon in 2000 when we were in the same intern class at GSA. He always lit up the room and make our classes and events so much fun.  I'll always remember him as kind, smart and funny. My deepest condolences to his family.

All the cousins… Jon welcomed me into the family immediately and with open arms. He always encouraged us all to have fun and be together. He never judged, always encouraged, and cared with his whole heart. It will never be the same without him 💜
My heartfelt condolences to you, Pat and your family. May Jon’s shared memories surround you all with everlasting love. Sending big hugs to you all. With love, Julia Jaworowski
Jon was one of the greatest people I knew. I was never as close to him as I wanted to be. We were theater friends at Fairfax HS but we socialized in different circles. My heart breaks for his family and I offer my most sincere condolences. I can’t imagine your loss, but I know the joy of having him in your life and hope the memories of good times will always push back the tragedy of his loss. My prayers will be with you.

I was so sad to hear the news about Jon. We ‘met’ in a neighborhood playgroup in 1978 (as babies) and any memory of elementary school, the Villa Pool, & just hanging out around the neighborhood includes him! That great smile, friendly personality and kind heart will be missed. Your family will remain in my prayers.
