Jonathan Edward Rothert, 34 of Roanoke, went to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on May 3, 2023. He is survived by his loyal, loving wife Shea Naomi Rothert, and 5 amazing children- Makeyla Jean, Jaxson Edward, Kelsey Brooke, Naomi Emma Skye, and Jonathan Edward Rothert, Jr. As well as his loving parents, Deanna Dickey, John Rothert & wife Carmen Rothert. Grandmother JoAnn Cody. Sisters Emilie and Ryleigh. Nephew Brently and niece Harley. Uncles, Clarence Wheeler, Bob Cody, Ron Cody, and aunt Deb Cody. Favorite cousins Daniel Gladson and Justin McCarthy. Special friends Randall Hustead, Jr., Herbert Collins, and Robbie Adams. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Emma Jean Dickey and Ronald Dickey, Galen Rothert, as well as other family members.  

Jonathan was a great father and husband. He will be missed so dearly. I’ll be having a celebration of life for him on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 5PM. Pastor Brian Milleti of Roanoke Church of Christ will be officiating the celebration at Harvest Ministries on Blue Ridge Blvd in Botetourt.
