I'm thinking of you, Johnny. Remembering how you were one of the very few of my Johnny's friends who contacted me after he was killed. Little would any of us have ever known, when you two goofballs were rolling on the floor laughing at one of your kid sleepovers that you would both be gone at such a young age. I have missed my Johnny for nearly 14 years... every minute of every day. When I heard you were gone too, it broke my heart. I thought about how sad it would make Johnny to know that you lost your life. This is a sad world for family and friends of people like you guys. The phrase... "in a better place" gets thrown around a lot especially when young people die. Life can be so hard. I believe you and Johnny are happy, healthy and having fun where you are now. I wonder if Johnny was there to meet you when you left us. I'll see you guys when I leave this life. Remember to save me a good seat. Of course, I love and miss you both. Love Always, Johnny's Mom.

Words can't quite describe how I'm feeling right now. AK was my best friend some years back, we did everything together. Over time we would drift apart, but never too far away that we felt we wouldn't talk or see each other again soon. His personality lit up a room and his smile was infectious, you couldn't help but be in a good mood around him. He was always larger than life, so much so that I never thought his demons would get the better of him. He will be missed and I know he is loved by many. Rest in peace my friend, I will see you again someday when we can once again hit the gym together, open up the Book of Iron and quote your favorite chapter and verse; AK 4:20 - Lift thy barbell with all thy might - You treated life much the same as you did a workout, you gave it everything you had.
