I met Jon many years ago, right as he was starting with a competing firestop company and back when we both had some hair on top of our heads. We were in San Antonio at the Little Rhein Steakhouse and as fellow OK State grads we hit it off immediately and have been friends ever since. Luckily, over the past 6 years we were colleagues working together and having a blast. Everyone who knew Jon was aware of his passion to excel, to be the best. And Jon was over the top when he talked about Melissa and the boys. More than just super knowledgeable, Jon was always there to help in any way he could. I am devastated to know he will not be on the other end of that telephone when I need to shoot some ideas his way. We will miss you Jon. God speed and Go Pokes!!
