Jonathan, Dad, Dader, Favo, Faj, Jonny, 76 BARREL, Brotha’, Jonny Highshorts, Jon Leach, beloved father, partner, brother, and friend, passed away on the morning of April 30th, 2025, after battling early-onset Alzheimer’s disease for well over a decade.

Jonathan had an unmatched sense of optimism and a go-getter attitude. His indomitable work ethic carried him through a successful career at Simon & Schuster Publishing, Microprose, Hasbro Interactive, and Atari. That same dedication shaped his home life, where he was a fiercely loyal, proud, and present father.

He was charming, goofy, and unwavering in his generosity. He was quick with a joke, happiest when he was outside in nature, and most at home in a pair of hockey skates. He is dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his former partner of 30 years, Julie, their four children, Kelsey, Kirsten, Erika, and Benjamin, and his six siblings, Jay, Chris, Nancy, Margaret, Mark, and Stephen Leach.
