Wow I’m so sorry this has happened. I’ve been trying to call his phone and I did not know what happened until I googled this. You may not know me but I was a good friend of his and I’m so sorry this happened. Wow, I’m hurt.
It was my first job as a travel agent and the first client I worked with was Audrey getting a ticket for Jon Wilson. He and I became friends for many years sharing stories of our children who were the same ages.Wherever he lived we kept in touch and invited each other to special events in our lives. He was a loyal  friend.

Todd, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I'd known and worked with him for over 35 years going back to the VGBW & A days  in Orlando and he always seemed to have  such a positive outlook despite his health issues. I don't have your contact information to reach out to you directly so please let me know if there is any thing I can help you with or provide any information you may need.

I have known Jon for over 35 years. When he didn't respond  to our Christmas and  bday greeting, I was concerned as he's always gotten back to me and we've talked to him from wherever in the world he might have been, sometimes with his brother Robert. I was shocked to learn of his passing. I actually skied a black diamond run many years ago with Jon's encouragement. He was such a wonderful and adventurous athlete and always encouraged others to reach for the top and do their best.  Jon was so smart, witty , clever, generous and a top-notch human being.  A great storyteller, a brilliant attorney who worked extremely hard on behalf of his clients and a wonderful friend to all who knew him . And yes, he did know all the best restaurants and hotels and side trips you should take. No matter where you were traveling, Jon had great recommendations.

In recent years,  Jon regaled us with stories of his grandkids ball games and sports activities and how proud he was of them and of course how very proud he was of his son Todd.

We will miss him so much and our hearts especially go out to you Todd, Avery, and Jax as I know you've had to deal with extraordinary personal loss in such short period and we send our sincere caring and condolences.

I worked directly with Jon from 2003 to 2009 when he was Department Chair at Foley. Jon was very insightful, very smart, very witty, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him through those years.  We had a great working relationship and stayed in touch periodically even after he retired from Foley. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Todd, I last saw your dad in the Federal courthouse in Tampa, in 2017 I believe.  I was serving there as a bankruptcy court judge and waiting for an elevator to go to lunch.  The doors opened - and there was Jon, on his way to the snack bar during a brief trial break.  I went to the snack bar and we had a quick, friendly chat.  I only worked with him once at Foley: a two week trial in bankruptcy court.  We started our second week on the Monday after Jon ran the NY Marathon.  He flew straight back to Florida and resumed cross-exam of a tough witness on that Monday morning.  Working with Jon, as a law partner and in that trial, was exciting and challenging.  He was intense,  creative and aggressive; I learned so much about trial work during that collaboration.  Also, I recall playing golf, once, with you and your dad, at a Foley conference, maybe around 1990.

Todd,  no one should have to  suffer the multiple recent losses as you have.  My deepest sympathy to you and your children.

Todd, I am so sorry. Your dad was a complicated guy. I learned much from him. One of the best things he convinced me to do was coach your Little League team. The first trial I ever saw was when I was his assistant in the summer of ‘78 before I was admitted to the bar. It resulted in the first appeal I ever briefed and argued. Much love to you and the kids.
I have fond memories of Jon.  Not only was he instrumental in moving us down to Orlando, but he was also our source for where to stay/eat/drink..... in any city in the world. When Jim left for the office in the morning, "ask Jon" was said as often as "have a good day".
Jon and I were friends for many years. so very sorry to hear about his passing.Love to Todd and Jax and Avery.

Jon was a great friend and oh so kind a man. His sense of humor along with his expertise in professional and every day duties were beyond compare. My wife and I will always remember Jon as a true friend. Our condolence to Todd and his family.....
